Carine Lallemand

Research scientist

Carine is a Senior Research Scientist in the HCI research group at the University of Luxembourg and Associate Professor in the department of Industrial Design at the Eindhoven University of Technology. As a passionate advocate for academia-industry relationships, you will often find her out of her lab, investigating design practices or exchanging insights with UX professionals.

Carine’s research is mainly focused on the development of innovative UX design and evaluation methods, as well as the psychological factors able to trigger memorable experiences with products and services. She is the author of a best-selling textbook on UX methods, used in over 80 curriculums across six countries.

As a former Vice-president of the French-speaking UXPA local chapter in Europe, she co-founded the premier national conference on UX design in Paris. She has been actively involved in the organisation of dozens of UX conferences and workshops and is also a recognized international speaker.
When she’s not fully immersed in the UX world, Carine embraces a bird’s-eye view living out her passion for hot air ballooning.
