Doctoral researcher
Huiyun Tang is a PhD researcher in the HCI team at the University of Luxembourg. Her research interests currently focus on user experience design, particularly how technology can better support individuals in navigating information challenges, including misinformation, in the digital world.

She holds a master’s degree in human-Computer Interaction from the University of Birmingham (2020) and has worked as a User Experience Designer at Bytedance China, the parent company of TikTok.
In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Huiyun is a photographer, capturing light and shadow in her spare time.
