Reha Tuncer

Doctoral researcher

Reha is a PhD student currently exploring how to effectively recognize Dark Patterns, and empirically measure their effects on the users of digital services. He is passionate about developing a better understanding of human behavior through controlled laborotary experiments. His academic background is in behavioral and experimental economics. His ongoing research focuses on elements of system design that push users towards behaviors that are against their self interest.

Reha holds master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He also loves to play the bass in his spare time.
